Og Kush

What it is

One of the most influential strains from the u.s. West coast. Hundreds of modern strains come from it (Gelato, Girl Scout Cookies, gorilla glue...).

Where it comes from

It appeared in florida in the early 90s and became famous in California. Its exact origin is a mystery (it's thought to have Chemdawg, lemon thai and a Kush), and even what "og" stands for is debated.

Aroma and effect

Diesel, pine and lemon, with an earthy undertone. Strong, balanced effect: euphoria first and relaxation after.

How to grow it

Hard: it's sensitive to deficiencies (especially calcium and magnesium), fungi and climate changes, and yields moderately. In return, its quality pays very well.

▲ Pros

  • High price

▼ Cons

  • Many pests
  • Medium yield

🎮 Practice it in UnderGrow

Photoperiod hybrid, 56 % Sativa and 22 % THC. Aroma: earthy, fuel.

Flowers in 8-9 weeks from when you switch the light to 12/12 (outdoors, on its own, in late summer). Seed to harvest, ~98 days indoors.

The seed bank promises up to 280 g per plant indoors and 470 g outdoors, with everything perfect. Selling price: high. The seed costs US$ 21.

Difficulty: hard. In the game, the harder it is, the easier pests take hold (on a hard one, almost double compared to a very easy one) and the seed costs a little more. Watering, feeding and climate mistakes damage the same in all of them. The hard ones usually yield fewer grams, but they sell for more. "How it's grown" comes from the real strain; in the game its ▲▼ and its traits count (resists fungi or pests, suffers heat or cold).
