What it is

The autoflower version of Northern Lights, one of the most famous strains in history. It was made by crossing the original Northern Lights with cannabis Ruderalis, a wild subspecies from russia and central Asia that flowers by age and not by light.

Where it comes from

Northern Lights was born in the 80s in the north of the united states, from afghan plants (and according to some, a bit of thai), and became famous when it reached holland. It's the mother or grandmother of hundreds of strains.

Aroma and effect

Sweet, earthy and spicy, with a pine undertone. Calm, pleasant effect, more body than head.

How to grow it

It's one of the easiest out there: it tolerates mistakes, grows evenly and resists pests and mold well. That's why it's ideal for a first plant. Like any autoflower, it's best sown straight into its final pot, avoiding heavy pruning and giving it 18 hours of light its whole life (18/6, during flowering too).

▲ Pros

  • Very easy: few pests

▼ Cons

  • Medium yield
  • Medium price

🎮 Practice it in UnderGrow

Autoflower hybrid, 54 % Sativa and 15 % THC. Aroma: sweet, pine, earthy.

Seed to harvest takes ~78 days (~78 real h). It flowers on its own, by age.

The seed bank promises up to 80 g per plant indoors and 90 g outdoors, with everything perfect. Selling price: average. The seed costs US$ 10.

Difficulty: very easy. In the game, the harder it is, the easier pests take hold (on a hard one, almost double compared to a very easy one) and the seed costs a little more. Watering, feeding and climate mistakes damage the same in all of them. The hard ones usually yield fewer grams, but they sell for more. "How it's grown" comes from the real strain; in the game its ▲▼ and its traits count (resists fungi or pests, suffers heat or cold).
