What it is
Granddaddy Purple ("grandfather purple"): a California Indica with intense purple buds and a grape aroma.
Where it comes from
It was bred in California in the early 2000s, crossing purple urkle with Big Bud: from one it took the color and aroma, from the other the size of the buds.
Aroma and effect
Grape and forest fruits. Very relaxing, body effect.
How to grow it
Easy. The purple color comes out more with cool nights at the end of flowering. Dense buds: watch the humidity.
▲ Pros
- Dark purple and high price
▼ Cons
- No special resistances
🎮 Practice it in UnderGrow
Photoperiod Indica, 21 % Sativa and 22 % THC. Aroma: grape, berries.
Flowers in 8-9 weeks from when you switch the light to 12/12 (outdoors, on its own, in late summer). Seed to harvest, ~96 days indoors.
The seed bank promises up to 350 g per plant indoors and 580 g outdoors, with everything perfect. Selling price: high. The seed costs US$ 18.
Difficulty: easy. In the game, the harder it is, the easier pests take hold (on a hard one, almost double compared to a very easy one) and the seed costs a little more. Watering, feeding and climate mistakes damage the same in all of them. The hard ones usually yield fewer grams, but they sell for more. "How it's grown" comes from the real strain; in the game its ▲▼ and its traits count (resists fungi or pests, suffers heat or cold).
