Gelato Auto

What it is

Gelato as an autoflower: a 'dessert' strain, sweet and creamy, in a fast plant.

Where it comes from

Gelato was born in San Francisco in the mid 2010s (sunset sherbet x thin mint GSC). The autoflower aims for the same in less time.

Aroma and effect

Creamy and fruity, like ice cream. Strong, balanced effect.

How to grow it

Medium: it needs a stable climate, not too hot or cold. It sells very well.

▲ Pros

  • High price

▼ Cons

  • Suffers from heat and cold: more stress and damage
  • Medium yield
  • More pests

🎮 Practice it in UnderGrow

Autoflower hybrid, 56 % Sativa and 23 % THC. Aroma: creamy, fruity.

Seed to harvest takes ~83 days (~83 real h). It flowers on its own, by age.

The seed bank promises up to 80 g per plant indoors and 90 g outdoors, with everything perfect. Selling price: high. The seed costs US$ 16.

Difficulty: medium. In the game, the harder it is, the easier pests take hold (on a hard one, almost double compared to a very easy one) and the seed costs a little more. Watering, feeding and climate mistakes damage the same in all of them. The hard ones usually yield fewer grams, but they sell for more. "How it's grown" comes from the real strain; in the game its ▲▼ and its traits count (resists fungi or pests, suffers heat or cold).
