What it is

A liquid acid that lowers the pH of the watering water. The most common ones are phosphoric acid (which also adds a little phosphorus, good for flowering) and citric acid. There is also "pH+" to raise it, if the water is too acidic.

How to use

A little is enough: it's very concentrated.

  1. Mix the feed into the water first (feed also changes the pH).
  2. Add the pH down 1 or 2 drops per liter, stir and measure.
  3. Repeat until you reach the value (in soil, 6,2 to 6,5).

Precautions

It is an acid: gloves, keep it away from eyes and kids. Never mix it directly with concentrated fertilizer, always in already diluted water.

▼ Cons

  • It gets used up

🎮 Practice it in UnderGrow

A jar (US$ 8) lasts 20 uses (1 use per 10 plants). It's used by watering with corrected pH (brings the root closer to pH 6,2), by flushing the soil (leaves the root at pH 6,2) (if you don't have any, tap water raises the pH) and by the waterer, if you've hired one.
